Bed and Breakfast makes an ideal base for exploring the sights of
Rome. The centre of Rome is just one hour's drive away, or 50 minutes
train ride on modern, air-conditioned trains - we can arrange transfers
to and from the local train station. |
Explore the beautiful Sabina Countryside
For nature
lovers, the Sabina countryside is wonderfully rural. And for those
interested in health and fitness, the local hills offer plenty of
places for hiking and climbing,
or pleasant walks along country paths from the village itself.
There is a swimming pool and tennis club 5 minutes drive away, which our guests can attend , and natural sulphur pools both hot and cold withing an hours drive, the lakes of Lazio are also wonderfully undiscovered and cool in summer. |

Italian lessons with Stefania
enrich your stay with a little full immersion Italian. Private lessons, small groups or even a family experience.
Our teacher Stefania Vastano, born and educated in Rome and now resident in Casperia. She is fully qualified with a degree in Italian literature and History of art and has long term experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language. Stefania is also a writer and poet and a jazz and blues singer, sometimes if you are lucky you can also hear her perform at the Casperia lounge bar.
Italian at La Torretta is a unique experience lessons are customized according to level and requests. We offer : a fun lesson for the tourist, a serious lesson for the academic, a family lesson, or just the unique experience of Italian with Stefania.
